Nurses Network To Host First-time “Nurses Night” Event At Spring Training Game Friday, March 13th

PHOENIX, Ariz., (February 27, 2020) – The Cannabis Nurses Network, a global healthcare organization, has partnered with the Oakland A’s to host Nurses Night at their Spring Training game against the Texas Rangers on Friday, March 13th, at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Arizona.

Healthcare providers, practitioners, and professionals are invited to attend and celebrate local community nurses during a pre-game ceremony behind home plate. Fans who purchase a ticket through the Cannabis Nurses Network will receive a special “Nurse Night” Oakland A’s fanny pack. A portion of the proceeds will go to a Continued Education Scholarship donation for a Nurse in Need.

Tickets are limited and start at $17. For more information or to purchase, visit CannabisNursesNetwork.com or https://www.groupmatics.events/event/AsCNN20.

A popular tradition at the Oakland stadium, this is the first time Nurses Night will take place at a Spring Training game in Arizona.

“This is a historic event as the World Health Organization named 2020 the ‘Year of the Nurse’ and the MLB recently removed cannabis from its list of banned substances. We are excited to celebrate a new era in sports for supporting athletes’ access to alternative medicine and honor local nurses from all backgrounds,” stated Heather Manus, CEO and Founding Member of Arizona Cannabis Nurses and the Cannabis Nurses Network.

Manus was instrumental in developing a cannabis healthcare community for nurses in the early stages of the state Medical Marijuana Program. Her Arizona Cannabis Nurses Association is recognized for its campaign to successfully advocate to have PTSD added as a qualifying condition in Arizona.

Known fondly as “Nurse Heather,” Manus will take the field pregame to give away a ticket for the 5th annual Cannabis Nurse Network Conference, taking place in September in San Diego.

About the Cannabis Nurses Network:

Established in 2015, the Cannabis Nurses Network is a private, global, members-only community and networking platform for cannabis nurses to become cannabis medicine experts. By educating nurses on the science behind the plant and providing a global nursing network, nurses are supported and empowered to implement their knowledge within their community. Cannabis Nurses Network provides opportunity for nurses to connect with like-minded healthcare professionals, participate in substantial thought-leader action projects, access members-only information, and offers a unique opportunity for nurses to promote themselves and their businesses while gaining status as a professional Cannabis Nurse.
