Arizona’s Largest Dispensary Operator Gives 22% off to Veterans EVERY DAY at its Six Valley Dispensaries

What:           Mint Cannabis’ six Valley dispensaries provide Veterans with a year-round 22% discount –

the highest-percentage discount that any dispensary in Arizona offers to Veterans.

The Mint designated its Veterans discount at 22% because 22 Veterans lose their battle to post-traumatic stress disorder in the U.S. every day. That is one Veteran every 65 minutes.

Why:             With nearly half a million Veterans living in Arizona, focusing on Veterans’ issues is important to the Mint team, especially given the disproportionate rates of post-traumatic stress disorder, unemployment, and homelessness among those who have served and sacrificed.

“It is time that we recognize the psychological toll that Veterans face,” said Eivan Shahara, CEO of Mint Cannabis. “Job-related stress, trauma, physical demands, and long hours have real psychological consequences. While the stresses are relentless, members of our military are supposed to be ‘tough.’ The perceived stigma surrounding mental health problems keeps many from seeking help.”
