Cheba Hut to Mark Back-to-School with Free Nugs and Parties for Students & Faculty
The fast-casual sandwich shop & bar is a destination for all, but it’s no secret that the college student population is a dominating force at any shop location in the U.S.
Cheba Hut, the cannabis-themed fast-casual restaurant/bar concept, is throwing back-to-school parties across the country by offering dirty deals and high vibes for students and school faculty. Cheba homies can expect to come and party with local music, vendors, giveaways and more.
And the best part? Students and faculty that show a valid student ID will get a free “Nug” (four-inch sub).
“We’re stoked to welcome back students for the Fall semester,” said Cheba Hut Marketing Manager Mel Banister. “Students should know that Cheba Hut is the spot to go when they aren’t in class this school year.”
The Brand’s August/September event dates will vary by location, so students should check their local Cheba Hut’s social media for more details.
“So many of us that work for the brand now frequented or even worked at a Cheba Hut shop when we were in college,” said Banister. “We want to spread our dank food and culture to new students, so they can create those great memories and spread that Cheba love.”
Cheba Hut knows how to throw a party, too. For the franchise’s 20th anniversary in 2018, it held the “Cheba Run,” inviting fans to visit each store and document their journey on video for the chance to win a Cheba Hut-themed VW bus and $500. Next year will mark Cheba Hut’s 25th anniversary, and the brand is already planning a blowout celebration.
“We can’t say exactly what the contest will look like just yet,” said Cheba Hut CEO Marc Torres, “but it’s going to be bigger and better in every way.”
