Arizona Cannabis National Cannabis Company Virtual Town Hall

The year 2020 has been record breaking for cannabis in Arizona. Two recent events including medical marijuana being deemed essential by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey during the COVID-19 health crisis, and a new adult use measure that recently qualified for the November ballot as Prop 207, have served to further the security and growth of one of the fastest growing spaces in the state.

On Thursday, August 27th from 4 – 6 p.m., the public is invited to learn more at a free, virtual town hall style event presented by the Marijuana Industry Trade Association (MITA-AZ), where business and medical communities will come together to share their take about the future economic impact these measures will have on the state. The informational session brings together industry powerhouses including Pakaj Talwar of Copperstate Farms, Moe Ansani of iLava, Dr. Sue Sisely of the Scottsdale Research Institute and others to talk about new and expanding opportunities in Arizona and across the country. For information, visit mita-az.org.

MITA-AZ, Arizona’s foremost business networking organization was established by Demitri Downing in 2016 and named one of the Top Networking Associations in the Valley by the Phoenix Business Journal. The group discusses policy, relevant topics and pressing issues affecting those who are successfully navigating the emerging cannabis industry. Organizers gather together speakers, lawmakers and thought leaders from across the country, and oftentimes the world, to share knowledge about the successes and potential pitfalls of creating and maintaining compliant medical and adult use cannabis programs.
