Arizona’s Hemp Industry Trade Association (HITA) holds its second monthly meeting this week at the Scottsdale OdySea. The event comes the same week that the industrial hemp program committee wrapped up their work for the program’s much anticipated June 1st launch.
HITA founder Sully Sullivan is thrilled his organization is getting up and running just in time to facilitate what is expected to quickly become a multi-million-dollar market. “We’re here to honor Arizona’s rich farming tradition while also supporting its future in the new burgeoning hemp market. We are committed to helping Arizona’s greater agricultural community thrive,” Sully said.
HITA, AZ’s largest hemp organization, encourages farmers, landowners, lawyers, investors, testing labs, and others who would like to get in on the ground floor as processors, harvesters and nursery owners. The event is also open to the curious public wanting to learn more about America’s fastest growing agricultural crop.
The event will take place at the Modern Groves Views restaurant from 5-8pm on the second floor of the complex at 9500 e Via de Ventura in Scottsdale. There is still time to get tickets online at the HITA website, HITA-AZ.ORG. If you use the promo code AZAGDEPT you will even get 10% off.
See you there!
